what you’ll need
for the base
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats (quick oats will work too, but not nearly as tasty)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 2 tsp maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
topping ideas
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 scoop of protein powder
- 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder (with some choccy milk instead of reg for a chocolatey treat)
- i’ve heard nuts & chia seeds are good but i wouldn’t know 😡
instructions
- Mix oats, milk, yogurt, sweetener of choice, and vanilla together in a container.
- You can choose to put your toppings in now for simplicity, or wait until just before eating.
- Let sit overnight (duh its in the name)
- Add any toppings you were worried about getting soggy and mix’er up.
