prep time: 20 mins
cook time: 10 mins
total time: 30 mins
what you’ll need
- 1.5- 1.7 (costco pack) lbs ground turkey
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 instant french onion soup packet
- 1 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
+ burger buns & any toppings you want- don’t forget to add those to the grocery list!
instructions
- Combine all burger patty ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well.
- Let rest in the fridge for 20 minutes.
- Shape into 6 equal-sized patties.
- The ground turkey from Costco is lowkey so ground it’s like slime, so I shaped the patties on a piece of parchment paper since they wouldn’t hold on their own. When it came time to grill, I left the parchment paper on top until the patty started to firm up and I could peel it off.
- Preheat the grill on medium-high heat.
- Place patties on grill and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165F, flipping only once (about 6 minutes in).
- Assemble burgers and enjoy!!

obviously, this is just for the patty- when i added a bun, LTO, and some chosen foods burger sauce (delish) my meal came to 454 cals, 40C/ 20F/ 32P which is not too shabby for the katester
tip/notes: i really recommend wetting your hands and using parchment paper when forming the patties as it can get pretty messy pretty quick when you’re playing with this slimy shi
