what you’ll need
this is less of a recipe and more of a method, so customize the amounts to your needs:
- some olive oil
- couple sprinkles of s&p
- chicken breasts
- water (you just need enough to cover the chicken in the pan)
instructions
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Season both sides of the chicken with the salt and pepper.
- Sear the chicken in the pan for 3-4 on each side.
- Add enough water to cover the chicken breasts, then poach the chicken until they reach an internal temp of 165°F.
- Shred the chicken using 2 forks, and enjoy in whatever the heck you’re making!!
- i’ve also seen people use a hand/ stand mixer on tik tok to shred their chicken but I can’t say I’ve given that one a go…
