keeping all of the ninja creami recipes together here so they don’t flood my dessert page since not everyone was as strong in their resistance to yet ANOTHER kitchen appliance as i was…

general tips i’ve picked up along the way
- i like to use an immersion blender to mix my bases before freezing them- i used to use a milk frother but it would get so clumpy and i found that everything would just reseparate anyways and i would have to mix it back up after the first spin
- you can use reg sugar if you don’t have monkfruit sweetener, but it will dramatically alter your macros. monkfruit sweeter is the reason these shawties are such low cal and high protein
- there is always the option to add protein powder to each recipe- i prefer to go low cal to stay truer to the sweet treat vibe, but if you need the macros boost have at it!
instructions
just about all bases for the creami are made the same way, so you just have to learn it once to get into whipping these hoes up:
- Combine all base ingredients together and mix well (shoutout my costco immersion blender)
- Pop that shit in the freezer overnight.
- Prep the pint for creamification (i think i made that up) using one of the following methods- if you skip this step it will take many rounds of processing to actually come out like ice cream and not too powdery
- let the pint sit out at room temp for 15 mins before processing
- run the pint under hot water for 60 seconds
- Process first using the ice cream setting. If it’s crumbly (it probably will be), use a butter knife to scrape around the edges and mix everything a little better before processing again on the re-spin setting.
- If it’s still crumby, mix it up and process again. If it looks like its starting to melt around the edges though, you should be good to send it on the mix-ins.
- Using a butter knife, scoop out a small hole in the middle of your pint by pressing the contents to the walls. Add your toppings of choice and process with the mix-in setting.
