
another baked oats recipe bc i just invented (discovered) them and i can’t get enough! this time with fall’s best flavor/ scent- and if you disagree? goodbye

what you’ll need
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups fairlife skim milk, or whatever milk you have available
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup diced apple, divided into 3/4 cup and 1/4 cup portions
instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and grease an 8x8in baking pan.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the old fashioned oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix in the milk, applesauce, maple syrup, and vanilla.
- Gently fold in 3/4 cup of the diced apple.
- Transfer the oats mixture to the baking pan, and sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of apples over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

tip/notes: these were pretty moist, so you could probably add a scoop of protein powder to give it a boost if you wanted! the only reason i don’t is because i already have a nurri or fairlife with my breakfast and i am trying not to processed-proteins-maxx
